B2C (Business to consumer)

This type of model is adopted by many companies which sells are oriented to their final consumer; this represents almost the majority of the electronic commerce. Nike and Vans’ E-commerce are some of the examples.

C2B (Consumer to Business)

This type of commerce is based on the traditional business in which the consumer puts his service into some companies’ disposition. The web site Freelancers Workana is an example.

C2C (Consumer to consumer)

And finally the C2C type which is based on the consumers’ relationships that are done commonly in forums and online markets; one example is Ebay.

What is the marketing role in the E-commerce?

Digital marketing does not deal with an e-commerce’s creation, but it does influence his production and possible success by designing strategies to increase its reach, achieving a higher percentage of conversion and increasing the repurchase.
